BLOCK 25 / 26
CITY BLOCKS 25-26
New Belgrade, Serbia
650.000m2
COMPETITION WINNER, 2007
Author with Dejan Miljković
The future BELGRADE CITY had to be designed with an integration of different functions: offices, commercial, sports facilities, entertainment and housing in order to avoid the “ghost city afternoon effect”. The proposed green roof terraces with sports facilities, cafés and parks on the 10th floor, (the standard height of neighboring urban blocks) made an illusion of a ground floor on the 33m height. The project was awarded First prize on the biggest (national) competition in 2007.
