The most influential style in that period in architectural practice was post-modernism. Whilst most other competitors made a Museum building, this concept offered something different- a glass structure over an existing regulated river which runs through the museum, symbolizing the fluidity of history.The exhibition concept propose was a path of suspended bridges which continuously passed through the glass void between the exposed artefacts which were also hanging on light steel cables.
