JOSHUA SHOE STORE
SHOE BOUTIQUE STORE
Belgrade, Serbia
150m2
COMPLETED, 2000
Author with Dejan Miljković, Branko Pavić
This low budget project gave an extra impulse to design something yet unseen in women’s shoe stores. The main interior is made out of shoe boxes especially designed for that purpose, and one long, narrow table with exposed shoes and strong spotlights, like the catwalk. Mirrors were placed at a particular height, so that customers could see the new shoes and not to be unhappy seeing their whole outfit, which is usually not in harmony with shoes they try on. The design was awarded as best in category of interior design on 24th Salon of Architecture.
